What type of events are hosted at Stowe Manor?

Can I take a tour of Stowe Manor?

Yes, we would love to give you a tour of our venue.  All tours are by appointment only.  Please call us at 704-825-8701 to schedule your visit.

What is the capacity of the venue?

20-300+ guests can be accommodated at Stowe Manor.  About 100 can be seated inside, with unlimited outdoor seating.  The manor has approximately 4500 square feet of space on the first floor of the house, which includes restrooms.

Do you provide event coordination?

No.  However, we do have a preferred list of vendors that will be able to assist you with the planning process. Please call or email us for more information.

Do provide tables/chairs, catering or decor?

All rental equipment (tents, tables, chairs, lighting, etc) for your event must be provided by Creative Solutions Special Events.  You may bring in your choice for catering, entertainment and floral design.  All catering must be licensed and insured.

Does Stowe Manor allow sparklers?

We do not permit sparklers, fireworks or Chinese lanterns. We are located in a residential neighborhood and want to be respectful of our community.

How late can we stay at Stowe Manor?

All events and music must end by 11:00pm due to a noise ordinance for the neighborhood.

Can we provide our own alcohol?

Yes, you can bring in your own alcohol but it must be served by a licensed bartender.

Can I have my bridal portraits taken at the manor?
Yes, we do allow brides to have their portraits done on the property for a $150.00 fee.  Appointments are based on availability. Please call or email us for more information.

Can an outside vendor be used for my event?

All rental equipment (tents, tables, chairs, lighting, etc) for your wedding must be provided by Creative Solutions Special Events.  You may bring in your choice for catering, entertainment and floral design.  All catering must be licensed and insured.

Do you have parking available?

Yes, a parking lot is located beside of the house.  If additional parking is needed, please contact First Presbyterian Church (which is across the street).

Can I have my rehearsal at the manor?

As long as the date is available, we would love to host your rehearsal.

How much is the advance deposit and when is it due?

We require a 50% deposit upon booking the venue. The remaining balance is due 60 days from your event date. A $350.00 refundable security deposit is also due at the time of booking.

Will there be other events taking place during my event?

No. You will have exclusive rights to the manor. Enjoy!

What time does my access begin on the day of my event?

We work the time out with each individual client.  Typically three to four hours prior to your event.
